5 facts about cash, its filthiness and why you should stop using it
Filthy cash facts
Check out our 5 facts about cash and why you should stop using it
1. Faecal matter is found on 94% on bills according to a study by the Southern Medical Journal. Paper money can reportedly carry more germs than your household toilet.
2. Viruses can survive on paper money for up to 17 hours during which it can be transferred to you.
3. Dirty cash is more likely to be used first by an individual. People naturally want to rid themselves of worn bills, keeping fresh crisper bills for themselves. This puts you at a higher risk of being exposed to faecal matter, bacteria, viruses or maybe even a bit of cocaine.
4. Cocaine is used often on your hard earned bills. Drug traffickers often use coke-sullied hands to move cash, and many users roll bills into sniffing straws for the nose beers!
5. Most importantly.. it's annoying! Don't be the guy or girl at the end of the checkout holding everyone up to either count the cash to the cashier, or count the change from the cashier. Pay quicker, cleaner and remove the clutter from your wallet.
